need ba talaga na manghila kami ng engineer para pirmahan ang permit namin? tapos yung engineer sa labas na makikilala namin ay bayaran... tapos iinspect din naman pala ng building official nyo

Here is the answer of our Building Official, Engr. Cesar Tamaca, to your queries:
The owner/permittee shall submit to the Office of the Building Official an application of certificate of occupancy together with a duly notarized cert. of completion signed and sealed by the owners duly licensed archt. or civil engr.
a notification to conduct final inspection shall be endorsed by the Office of the Building Official to the Bureau of Fire who shall issue a Fire Safety Inspection Cert.
The Office of the Building Official undertakes the final inspection.
Prior to the issuance of the Cert. of Occupancy , this OBO shall prepare the corresponding fees and order of payment. The BO then issues the Cert. in the form prescribed therefor after all fees are paid.
This is Section 309 of the National Building Code of the Philippines P.D. 1096.
Hope you understand god bless.
